Depart from evil and do good

“Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” - Psalms 34v14

Sometimes the word of God can be so basic and so simple that we can just read something and skip over it. Sometimes we as Christians can complicate that which God made plain and easy.

Here is one such example. God sets it down very clearly:

· Depart from evil
· Do good
· Pursue peace

How complicated is that. Can we even imagine what it would be like if we as believers set out every day in God’s strength to do these things. What would it be like if we simply departed from evil, did good at every opportunity, and sought after peace?

Would that day be a day that would please the Lord?
